Laxmi hydraulics presents lhp brake motors. The brake operation is normally on, and is applied when the power to the motor is cut off or during power failure. Special brake liners ensures working of braking torque remains constant when it is in use. The braking torque can be changed as per requirement by rotating the torque adjustment ring. The brake motor allows easy replacement of the armature disc in the event of the wear and tear. In the case of power failure or maintenance, the manual release - provide for the brakes up to 160 frames - can be pushed back for realizing the brake, to rotate the shaft. A dust protecting seal is protected is provided to protect the brake liners. The brake motor comes with rectifier unit, and therefore no separate dc supply is necessary for energizing the brake coil. A varistor is provided across the dc terminals to protect the brake coil and the rectifier against line and induced voltages. In case of power failure, the braking torque is applied by an axial force of several compression springs. Lhp brake motors requires dc supply voltage [190 dc], which can be obtained through ac or dc rectification.
